In 2023, Lee Hartman, winemaker of Bluestone Vineyards in the Shenandoah Valley, VA and Joy Ting of Joy Ting Wine in Charlottesville teamed up to produce Santé, a casual sparkling wine made from Vidal grapes. The result is a delicious, fun, easy-drinking wine that is a wonderful addition to the table and a perfect accompaniment to good times and great friends. You’re invited to a public celebration of the release of their pétillant naturel (or pét-nat, made using the “ancestral” method–the oldest version of sparkling winemaking with origins in France).
Guests can enjoy complimentary tastings with the winemakers on Friday, July 26th from 5-8PM at Eastwood Farm and Winery less than 5 miles south of Charlottesville on Rt. 20. Tastings will be free and offered on a rolling basis during the event. Glasses from the featured winemaker(s) will also be available for sale, in addition to the Barrels & Tanks bottle menu and Eastwood’s full menu with seasonal, farm-inspired cuisine by Executive Chef Andrew Partridge, on-tap beers and ciders, Eastwood’s award-winning wines, live music from 5-8PM, and more.
